To counteract this perception, the RealClimate folks have set up a page linking a wide variety of global warming data: 'sources of temperature and other climate data, codes to process it, model outputs, model codes, reconstructions, paleo-records, the codes involved in reconstructions etc.' For those who take an amateur interest in the subject, it might be worthwhile to go poke around and take a look."
