GovTechGuy writes "The government got underway on Thursday making new rules that will force cell phone carriers to be more up front about their pricing policies and billing practices. The FCC's rules are aimed at cell phone "bill shock" whena customer unwittingly receives a wireless bill for hundreds or even thousands of dollars without knowing why. One example cited by the FCC featured a customer who received a $70,000 bill from their wireless provider."
