Re:173 kWh (Score:0, Funny)
I feel that eating up 5.73kWh a day is still high given that we are only at home probably a few hours a day. Though there is no air conditioning. Just fan. Old style CRT TV. No refrigerator but a water cooler is there. Lights. Laptop and other mobile devices. Water heater though is present.
I guess all those small usage add up a lot.
Wow, that's over 200 Watts on average, that's almost as much as my video card uses. Well, I guess it does take some power to heat up ramen (I'm assuming that's all you ever use the water heater for...). Have you considered running an extension cord upstairs and plugging it in behind your mom's china cabinet? She'll probably never see it.
btw- why do you have a separate power meter for the basement anyway?
Does that include metabolic reactions? (Score:5, Funny)
Or just the conventional wire shit?
